I started playing the Great Highland Bagpipes in the dim and distant past (1962?) but bought the Lowland Pipes more recently because they were quiet enough to play indoors and as a duet with my daughter playing the scottish folk harp called a Clarsach.

I still play the Great Highland Bagpipes and I am available for hire for weddings, funerals, birthdays and other occasions.
